I had many experiences since childhood which grew my faith in Sri Sai Baba. Recently I had received a job offer from a fortune 500 company but my professor didn't allow me to graduate as he wanted me to work on his project.This made me feel low on confidence. So I read Sai Sacharitra for 1 week which gave me immense confidence and faith. I could complete my professor's research work in quick time and the job offer was still waiting for me. Now I work for the same company through Baba's grace.

A Sai Devotee
I wanted to post an experience I had last Saturday. It's a very small incident but it shows that Sai is always around us. I had to go to office for some work on that Saturday, and skipped breakfast in my rush to get to office. After reaching office also, I thought that I'd directly eat something at lunch to save time. But at lunchtime I found that the sandwich counter (which is the only eatery we have at office on weekends) was closed for some reason. Our office is located in a remote area, and there are no nearby eateries where one could go. So I was in a quandary, since I was already feeling very hungry and had several more hours of work to get completed before I could leave office for the day. The only option left was to order from a very expensive restaurant located nearby. I hadn't wanted to do that, since I really didn't want to spend that much on lunch (esp since I am going through some money crunch and need to be really careful about my spending). But having no other option I called up the restaurant and ordered a couple of parathas and some subzi. For every small or big thing of my life, I always keep bugging my Sai, so now also I was praying to Sai in my mind that it is an expensive restaurant, but please let the bill amount not be greater than 100/-, since I really cant afford to spend any more than that. But when I asked the manager about the bill amount. He said that it was 220/- that too minus service tax! I'm ashamed to say now that immediately on hearing this, a thought came in my mind that Sai let me down. But I tried not to think any more about it and just gave the order and kept the phone down. But now see the wonder - just around 5 min after this, the manager rang up to say that the subzi that I wanted was not available that day, and asked me to order something else. When I didn't like any of the other choices and was wondering how I would eat just the paranthas, he said that the parathas would be served with a bowl of curd, which was free with the paranthas. And the order amount for the paranthas alone was just Rs 80/-! And true to his word, when the food was delivered I found that the subzi would indeed have been a waste of money, since the curd alone was more than sufficient for one person!
It is unusual that a restaurant manager takes the order first and then later calls up to say that the item is not available, and then himself suggests that the order could be cut down. I'm fully aware that this just happened because of Sai Baba who heard my prayer. As to why He immediately acted on such a small insignificant prayer (when sometimes much bigger prayers than this take time to be answered), well, what I felt was that it is the level of faith with which the prayer is made that makes the difference. I'd had full faith that Sai would listen to my request, so I didn't even think it was possible that it would not be heeded. So, when the manager quoted a big amount and I questioned Sai about why that happened, He was quick as ever to keep up my faith in Him.

A Sai Devotee
I would like to narrate an experience in our lives that shows that Baba is God incarnate. 2 years back, when our family life was in trouble, my wife suspected she would have got pregnant. We went to a doctor for confirmation 2 weeks after that. The doctor scheduled for a scan and asked us to get the reports. We got the scan done and were waiting for the doctor' advise. After some 15 mins of discussion, the doctor came out and said the scan has been done and the result is of concern. The doctor explained that the Fetus is 6 weeks old and has stopped growing inside the womb since 2 weeks and it is a case of abortion. We were shell shocked. It was the first pregnancy and my wife was heart broken. Tears welled up in her eyes. I asked the doctor to double check. The doctor was a very experienced old woman and head of the Gynecology dept at the Hospital/University. To comfort us she did the scan again and showed us that there is no pulse and according to the dates, by now the Fetus should have a pulse and growing. She asked us to go for an abortion and advised us that it's okay for us to wait for a week and then come back for the abortion.
We left with heavy hearts. All the way back home my wife was inconsolable. I could not do anything. I just prayed to god and accepted the situation.
Suddenly I felt I should take a second opinion. After a week we went to another lady doctor, who was also equally experienced and was head of gynecology dept in another hospital. We explained her the situation and she scheduled a scan 2 days later. We anxiously waited for the day and after the scan were impatient for the result. The doctor took me aside and said the same thing as the first doctor. However she gave us a lot of mental support and advised us to wait for another week before coming in for abortion. We could do nothing but accept her suggestion. We went back home. That night I was very agitated. We both prayed to Sai, asked him to do whatever he feels best for us and then went to bed. Before sleeping my wife applied Udhi to her stomach. She did this daily for 1 week. After one week as advised we went to the doctor for an abortion. Before that, the doctor said she would do a routine scan.
Now see the miracle. The scan showed the pulse and the fetus was growing. The doctor was shocked. She double checked the earlier scan reports, recalculated the dates. She talked to herself for 10 mins.we could hear her murmuring impossible..impossible 2 to 3 times. Finally she said "God wanted this baby to be born". She then gave us the happy news. We were thrilled. My wife was happy and we could not thank Baba enough. The Baby was born with no trouble and now he is a 2 year old active energetic boy.
Baba's grace is unfathomable.

A Sai Devotee
I would like to share with the fellow devotees my situation and how Baba came in my life every time and saved me. When things don't happen as we please, we become very upset and try to think hard that why something I prayed for didn't happen. Well, as mentioned in Satcharitha, Baba has a bigger plan for each one of us. Let's not get upset over little hurdles, which Baba gives to test our devotion. Let's pray even harder with firmer faith in Him.
My parents had been seeking alliances for me for quite sometime. They would not take leave from work so that they can take it if my wedding would take place. This was going on for few years. They were very depressed and had no hope that some day it would happen. I was living alone and also quite depressed and frankly lost hope. My parents starting visiting temples far and near and visited Shirdi, where they were given Kumkum and Haldi. We considered this very auspicious and we started looking at life again with little hope and my confidence in Baba grew.
Hearing to our situation, my friend took my birth details for horoscope to show to a pandit who was well versed in this. When the pandit looked at my horoscope, he said, even if the wedding is set to start, it would not be completed. It will be stopped in the mandap itself. He said that if we performed some puja for Rs. 19,000, then the dosha would go and everything will take place smoothly. When my friend told me this, I was heart broken. I informed my parents and apparently all of us were heart broken. Since, our family prays a lot, we all decided to just have faith on Baba and not do any such puja as suggested by the pandit and have faith in Baba who will do the best for us.
Six months passed by like that. I had bought a car and along with a friend went to the temple to get the vahana-puja done. We were surprised as to why so many people were there at the temple. And then realized that it was the auspicious day of SriRama Navami. There in the temple, a girl was standing and was distributing Akshitha to everyone. I too got a packet and asked the pujari as to when he would be able to perform the puja for my car. He said...u have come for the God's wedding, have lunch and then come. All will be good for you. I was very happy.
Soon, I got in touch with a prospective person and met him once. As soon as I saw him, I felt Baba saying in my ears....He is the one. And in less than a month's time, the wedding was to take place.
I was very worried along with my brother and parents remembering about the pandit's words. But there was one strong belief that said that Baba would do the best for our family and since we intentionally didn't hurt anyone, Baba would take care of us.
I kept praying with firmer devotion. I badly wanted to go to Shirdi, but unfortunately couldnot. I went to the temple, which is close to my house and imagined that to be Shirdi. I said to myself that if within that week, if I receive Baba's prasad from Shirdi, then all will go well. And guess, in 3 days, one of our family friends came to our house and told me that my wedding card had reached Shirdi via her husband and it fell on Baba's feet. My eyes were filled with tears and my joy knew no bounds. She said that she would bring the prasad as soon as her husband returns which she did. Thus, my faith in Baba became even firmer.
Then, the day of wedding was fast approaching. I prayed to Baba that He attend my wedding and bless us. And He did fulfill my wish: 1) A man who came to bless us had a chain with Baba's face as pendent 2) Another man had a pen which had the picture of Saibaba 3) My mother's colleague gave me a silver idol of Baba as a wedding gift. 4) I had ring on my finger and Baba is with me all the time.
The wedding took place peacefully with Baba's blessings and today as I write this, its 6 months after my wedding. I found a perfect fit in my life and family only with the blessing of Sainath.

I would like to share an incident happened with me recently; I along with my family went out for a dinner at a resort with one of our friends, when accidentally, I lock the door of the car with keys inside. I was in a fix as to how I would go back home as the place was outside the city limits and could not see any hope of getting help. I was worried in entire dinner and in between of dinner I came out and started looking for help and also, I was praying continuously. I saw a driver came near and asked me about my problem I told him the case. He told me not to panic and solved the problem with in a minute. Many million thanks to this unknown-known Driver (Sri Sai).

I am very much happy to share my experiences. Baba knows everything he knows everything. Well I don't have to say explicitly. I am here again to share my happiness. I prayed Baba to help my daughter to drink milk. She did give me very hard time to drink milk but later when we visited my sister's home there miracle happened I am sure Baba's presence is there in their home and may be talked with my daughter and soon she was drinking milk without any issue. I know it's all because of Baba. My jijju is a devotee of Baba they all always do Sai Bhajans and participate in Sai bhajans. It's definitely a miracle for me. I promised I will post my exp but did not do it. So here I am to submit my article.
There is one more wish that Baba has fulfilled. It is for my Jijju..who was looking for the project ..I never asked Baba about my jijju because I thought I don't have to ask Baba as I felt the presence of Baba in my Jijju's home. But since it was taking little more time than expected to get the project, One Thursday I prayed Baba to get the project for my Jijju then I promised I would post my article in the Sai news letter. And again Baba proved that he will fulfill the devotee's wants/needs/Dreams ....and within the next Thursday my jijju said he got a project. Thanks for finding a project locally for your son my jijju. Please forgive me I did not post it on time. I was really trying hard to post it.

Dear Sai Baba, koti koti pranam. I am really grateful to You for blessing my brother-in-law's 4 days old son. He has been suffering from fever. I prayed to Sai Baba to cure this disease, and if He cures this disease I will share my experience in Sai Vichaar. With Sai Baba's grace above disease cure and he is now completely good condition.

Shirdi Sai Baba-His Grace Ever Manifest
Shirdi Sai Baba worked out a miracle in my life too and I take immense pleasure in sharing it with fellow Sai devotees and seekers.
My name is N. Sairam and I am from Bangalore. This miracle happened to me in the month of July 09. Due to my careless attitude and as I lacked the skill to perform efficiently my work, I was suddenly sacked from the company on 31st May 09 without given any notice period. I was shocked to lose my job all of a sudden but couldn't do anything and was sitting at home jobless for more than a month and was desperately searching for a job. My efforts went in vain and I was almost losing hope day by day. My bank balance also was getting diminished in order to meet my family's expenses and everyone in family prayed to God for a job for me at the earliest.
In the last week of June 09, I was called for an interview by a small private company (near my place) and I was in the hope of getting that job at the earliest as I had done the written interview very well (though I had not done well in the last technical interview). However my hopes began to fail as I did not receive any further calls from the company even after a week.
A miracle of miracles, as it was, at that very time, I received a call from the company to attend the final round of interview the next day....
During this period, my wife Uma (God's gift to me) told me that praying to Shirdi Saibaba and performing ‘Vridha' (fasting with pooja) for 9 continuous weeks on every Thursdays would yield me a job for sure. Initially I did not have belief in Baba and in the worship as I was a staunch devotee of Sri Rayaru and hence I informed her to do the pooja on my behalf and that I would participate in it. My wife hence started the worship. The previous day of the third week of worship, I got my self drowned in worries as to whether I would be employed in that company as there wasn't any other company that wanted to interview me.
Worrying about my predicament, I started browsing the internet when I came across a website on Shirdi Saibaba. The website exposed experiences of His devotees and His teachings to me, particularly an article published on 'Faith' and 'Patience' drew my attention. As I read on my eyes welled up and I started chanting 'Jai Sai,' surrendering myself completely to Him. A miracle of miracles, as it was, at that very time, I received a call from the company to attend the final round of interview the next day. My tongue immediately and involuntarily started repeating 'Jai Sai'.
The next day, the third Thursday, I completed the worship of Sai and went to attend the final round of interview. It was more than a surprise for me when I was told that I was selected for the job and that my salary was more than what I actually asked for. My joy knew no bounds and immediately thanked Sai within. With the CTC letter procured from the HR department I went straight to a Saibaba temple in the vicinity and placed it at Baba's feet gratefully and took His blessings. I also went to Sri Rayaru temple and took His blessings too. My family members were all very happy on me being employed. As for my wife and me, our faith in Sai increased tremendously. Needless to say, we are now staunch devotees of Baba.
All that I want to convey to my fellow Sai devotees is that, it is not necessary for one to recite any mantras or stotras. All that Sai wants is true faith in Him and patience. Nothing else. Just thinking of Him and uttering 'Sai, Sai' is more than enough to beget His showers of blessings. If possible one can also perform the nine weeks Vridh for which there is a book that states the procedures of the worship.

WE HAVE A LAMINATED PHOTO OF OUR BELOVED SAI NATH IN OUR POOJA ROOM. FEW MONTHS BACK, WE NOTICED CRACKS DEVELOPED ALL OVER THE UPPER PORTION OF BABA S PHOTO, THE ENTIRE CHEST PORTION, ESPECIALLY ON THE LEFT SIDE. AS IF THE GLASS HAS BROKEN INTO SEVERAL PIECES.
IT WAS VERY SADDENING, AS WE FELT THE CRACK WITH OUR FINGERS. IT WAS THE TOUGHEST PHASE OF OUR LIVES . A HELL OF TIME WE NEVER EXPERIENCED.
THEN ONE DAY, WHILE I WAS MEDITATING, BABA REVEALED TO ME THOUGH MY INNER SELF, THE CRACKS WOULD VANISH ONCE OUR CRISIS GET SOLVED AND THIS WE GRADUALLY NOTICED THAT WITH EVERY PASSING OF DAY OUR CRISIS LESSENED AND THE CRACKS STARTED TO DISAPPEAR.
AND IN THE MIDST OF THIS, ONE DAY I PRAYED TO HIM , REQUESTING BABA TO CALL US TO SHIRDI. THEN ONE DAY IMPULSIVELY I DECIDED
TO VISIT SHIRDI IN JUST TWO DAYS NOTICE DURING SUMMER OF 2008 . SAW THE TRAINS TIMING ON THE NET, 370 WAITING LIST....2ND OR THIRD A/C WAS NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE DURING VACATIONS SO THE SLEEPER WAS THE ULTIMATE CHOICE. WENT TO THE TICKET COUNTER PERSONALLY THERE ALSO CAME TO KNOW THE SAME THING, STOOD VERY DISSAPOINTED IN THE CORNER OF THE COUNTER...SUDDENLY THE PERSON CALLED SAYING 2 BERTHS WERE AVAILABLE TILL KOPERGAON JUST AFTER TWO DAYS... (THIS HAPPENED ON 19 MAY 2008 AND OUR TICKET WAS RESERVED FOR 21ST MAY 2008)
GOOD GOD ! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN .......... ....THERE WAS A WAITING LIST OF 370 PASSENGERS.... WE GOT CONFRIMED RESERVED TICKET ALSO FOR THE RETURN FROM SHIRDI TO CALCUTTA ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SUMMER VACATION WAS ON AND THERE WAS A WAITING LIST OF 370 PASSENGERS.
THESE ARE EXPERIENCES ......DONT CALL THESE EXPERIENCES AS MIRACLES, BECAUSE MIRACLES ARE REQUIRED TO CONVINCE THOSE WHO ARE RELUCTANT TO ACCEPT THE SUPREME POWER OF BABA.. THESE EXPERIENCES ARE NOTHING BUT HIS FULFILLING OF THE PROMISE THAT HE GAVE TO EACH ONE OF US WHEN HE SAID "IF YOU SPREAD YOUR PALMS WITH DEVOTION BEFORE ME, I AM IMMEDIATELY WITH YOU DAY AND NIGHT. I am working in Gulf (Qatar) and here the procedures are tough in getting family visa. I have been trying since 3 years for getting a permanent family visa. My family has been on and off in Qatar for all these years. We are really worried this year because my son who is 5 years old has to put in school. Both me and my wife are ardent Sai devotees and we sincerely prayed Sai to fulfill our reasonable prayer and start our life together. My wife sincerely believed that Sai is doing this for some reason all way long, but me being a very emotional person, found it very hard to accept. I was slowly losing my confidence in all aspects. I have applied this time also and it was again rejected. But the immigration official has given me an appointment with the officials on 0ctober 5th. My family is here in Qatar on 6 month's visit visa and their visa will expire on September 9th. We were very confused and without knowing what to do, tried all ways of preponing our interview date. Our house owner also tried from his side through his friend, to prepone the interview date. Suddenly last Tuesday night he informed me that my interview is for tomorrow (Wednesday) 7:30 am. I immediately started reading Sai Satcharitha and the next morning, after saying my prayers went to the meeting (15 minutes late). The office boy at the immigration took me directly to the chief there and not to the other officials in the meeting (where I was rejected for the past 2 times). There I was asked 3 questions, regarding my profession, salary etc, to which I answered the truth. Then the official said come after 3 days to check your application, since I had lost almost all hopes I did not talk even a word further, said thank you and came off. The same day around 12 pm I got a telephone call from the immigration office saying that my visa application is passed and I can collect my family visa immediately. Then I realized Baba has come to me through the office boy, who arranged my interview to the chief directly. It took me sometime to realize what Sai has given. I was almost in tears, once again Sai has helped me to overcome all my difficulties . I got married, got job abroad, got child, got a new and better job, got my family visa, everything by Sai's grace only and I am sure, what all things I am going to get in future also will be purely on Sai's blessings only. The 7th day I finished reading my Satcharitha. I got my family visa's all properly stamped etc in my hand.

Om Sai Sri Sai Jaya Jaya Sai! Last year in September my husband lost his job due to a disability. He did not have disability coverage through his employer. He got state disability, which was only valid up to 1 year. I have been praying to Baba for my husband to get a job with proper coverage. He finally with Baba's grace has another job and the new employer gave him a starting date of exactly one year from when my husband lost his job! Baba you are amazing and have convinced me that you are there to look after us. Please Baba bless my husband to be able to hold on to this job. Please always keep me and my family under your protection!

In 2003, I left my very good job in India and immigrated to Canada. I have applied to many jobs (all kinds) but not even a single call from any employer in 3 months. I was frustrated and came back to India. I have spent all my savings on Canadian immigration. I was so worried that why this had happened to me despite of praying to Sai and visiting Sai's temple in Toronto. I returned back to India and immediately, by the grace of Sai, I was offered job in my previous company. At my job, due to some internal changes in the department, I was given the responsibility of the area which I was not interested at all. I was regularly praying Sai to get me a chance to work in the area of interest for my better prospects. Exactly after 6 months I was given the responsibility of area of my interest. He has given me all the confidence and courage to handle new responsibilities. In November 2005, I was offered an overseas placement in my company with a good salary. I felt that Sai had given me a better opportunity. He knows what is best. Finally, I moved to my Moscow office in May, 2005 and planned to bring my family in July. After coming to Moscow, I went to Indian Embassy School (Kendriya Vidyalaya) for getting admission in 2nd standard for my twin sons. The school principal has refused to give admission, as already the strength of the class is very high. I prayed Sai for my kid's admission. Very next day, by the grace of Sai, one of my colleagues had helped me in getting a recommendation letter from someone and Principal had given the admission without any objections. Without Sai's grace this would not have happened. I pray Sai this to shower His blessings on all of us.

Om Sri Sai, I had so many experiences and with each experience, my devotion is becoming deep. I have been doing parayana for 10 weeks. I was very busy that I could not find any time to finish the last week parayana. I thought I would finish it on Wednesday but I had to go out for jewelry shopping for my brothers marriage. When we are ready to go, we could not find the gold we kept in a purse, which had to be taken along with us. We were so much tensed, I cried and prayed Baba why is this happening when I had been doing parayana for 10 weeks, then I said to Baba, I will start reading all the chapters and by the time I finish Wednesday's chapter I must find the gold. My mother and aunt were searching and I was reading Satcharita. When I finished all the chapters upto Tuesday and as soon I started Wednesday's chapter, my aunt came to me saying we found the purse. I was really surprised and was in tears .it means Baba wanted me to finish the last week parayana, so all this had happened. I also said that if I find the gold I would write my experiences in this site. In addition, my mother prayed that if we find the gold she would start parayana. Here is another experience. I am afraid to visit my in-laws place, because they quarrel for no reason. I prayed Baba to help me and see that they won't say anything to me. I stayed there for 10 days, they started small fights but ended up very soon before it became serious. They didn't say much about me. Apart from that they talked to me very well, I was surprised. I thought it is Baba that controlled them. I thank him once again deeply. Baba once again proved that he is with us and he is watching us.

I am very happy to share this wonderful news with all the Sai brethren. A month or two ago, I had written in the Prayer Club about my nephew who was undergoing his merchant navy course in Australia. He had just one chance left for him to successfully complete his orals. At that point of time, I had written with a lot of tension and worry and had asked for Our Baba's blessing and for your prayers. Moreover his visa was expiring by end of September. I am very happy to state here that he has passed his orals successfully and will be back in India this week. His family is ecstatic and their faith and devotion has been well rewarded. We are planning a visit to Shirdi now to worship Baba in his own place. Thanks to Our Lord who has wrought this miracle and thanks to all you devotees of Sai who took time to say a prayer for us.

Sai Ram. I would like to share my experience that how Sai Ram helped me instantly. I am working for a German Company as a Secretary. I was expecting six visitors from Germany for a conference in Abu Dhabi. Accordingly, I had applied for six visas through our agent. After 4 days, the secretary from Personnel Department. came with the original visas and asked me to acknowledge. As a matter of trust, I received it and she left. The sponsor's office is just opposite to our office. Later when I checked I found only five visas, whereas I had acknowledged for six visas. I got the shock of my life. I ran to the Sponsor's Secretary, showed all the visas, and told her that I didn't receive one visa. She told me directly that I had acknowledged it and hat's it. I explained to her very well you could see only you gave me five Visas, I double checked it might be sticking to one another, but all in vain. I gave the secretary the name of the person whose visa I didn't receive and came back to my office. It was already late in the evening, I kept these five visas in the safe, locked it up and then left for home. I was totally worried about that particular visa. Next day the moment I came to the office, called that secretary, and asked if she found the visa, she said no. Then, I cam back to my office, started my routine, first thing after coming to the office, I Have a diary in which I write "Om Sai Ram", that day also I was writing Sai Ram and praying that I should get the visa, immediately I got a voice coming saying open the second draw, I opened it I found only that particular visa as the rest 5 visas, I had kept it inside the safe. I was dumbfounded, SaiRam really helped me. I really was so much thrilled and excited that I was feeling on the top of the world. Sai helps everybody. It's just the faith, devotion and entire surrender to him will help everybody in all walks of life

I am writing the little I know about Sri B.V.Narasimhaswamyi ji. He was a leading advocate in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. He was related to Sri C. Rajagopalachari (Rajaji, eminent freedom fighter, scholor, politiacian, and spiritualist) who in turn was related to Mahatma Gandhi. From what I was told, Sri Narasimhaswamiji left his lucrative practice as a lawyer in Salem, when a very brilliant young son died. I met him in Madras in thirties when he then was staying with another son who was doing business. After leaving legal work, he spent three years (about) in Ramanashramam with Bhagavan Ramana and wrote his biography. He was more attracted by bhakti marga and became Shirdi Sai maharaj's ardent devotee. He took pains in thirties to personally meet devotees who personally saw Shri Sai Maharaj in physical body and published about eight volumes called Experiences of Sai devotees. I saw these books and read them. He spread Sai Maharaj’s name allover south of India. I again saw him in 1937 when he came to our house and addressed series of lectures on Shirdi Sai. My father was his classmate and so he stayed with us. This was in Bapatla, Guntur Dist, Andhra Pradesh, India. It will be not an exaggeration to say that in circar districts of Andhra Pradesh, Shirdi Sai was known only because of him. By 1949 or so, he settled down near and then in Shirdi Sai temple at Mylapore Madras. I met him a number of times in the temple and he did namakaranam (naming ceremony) to my second daughter in that temple. Even now his marble statue is in this temple and worshipped by all devotees. He ordered one late Bapatla Hanumantha Rao to publish Shirdi Sai’s books in Telugu and he produced and published numerous books and they are still reprinted by his son Sri Bapatla Parthasarathy who is a very great devotee of Shirdi SAI. I also met Sri Rege, a retired High court judge of Nagpur at Madrs Sai Temple.He knew Shirdi SAI IN HIS PHYSICAL FORM and he asserted that till then, and all the time Shirdi SAI IS CONTINUOUSLY BLESSING HIS DEVOUT DEVOTEES. I MET Sri Kesaviah garu who built a Shirdi Sai temple in Shenoynagar Madras and his life is available in book form at this temple I also met Sri U. Sangasmesam garu at madras then living near Vijaya studios, Madras. I also knew late Krishna Priya who was a great Sai devotee. If you thought of any problem and placed bananas, she would place before Shirdi Sai and bring them back to you. Answers were printed on the bananas. I saw this in Madras

Last weekend I had the good fortune to visit Shirdi. I went in a car with three other devotees and received the most wonderful darshan. There Baba sat - like a King, while millions thronged and craned their necks to get a glimpse of their beloved Sai. Yes, it was my destiny to go in comfort and get a VIP pass to stand right at Sai's feet, but the feeling of all those who had walked miles, clutching a few dried up flowers, children and babes-in-arm, oh what an overwhelming sight!
Tears streamed ceaselessly down my cheeks as I witnessed their devotion. I have been to so many places of worship but I have never seen devotion like this. What is it about this simple humble soul who came to this little village? What every devotee had in common was the unconditional love for this unique being who chose to go around begging for his food.
At this point, I wish to tell a story from the Sat Charita about a devotee, Kaka Saheb Dixit. He suffered from total restlessness of the mind. No matter what he did, no matter how much he prayed, his mind knew no peace. One night he had a dream in which a Hindu goddess appeared and told him to go to Sai Baba. Unfortunately, he awoke before confirming where he had to go. So he went to a few holy places, prayed and did the usual rites, but still he remained restless and knew no peace of mind. In a subsequent dream, he learned that he should go to Sri Sai Baba of Shirdi. He made all arrangements to undertake the journey. As soon as Kaka Saheb saw Baba his mind lost its restlessness. He felt calm and at peace - what wonder! Baba said nothing, did nothing; just his glance was enough. Yes, my dear fellow devotees, just to look upon him one feels that sense of calm. Mental worries seem to disappear and we are left there standing steadfast with a power and strength to take on what this world has to offer.
It was a beautiful weekend in Shirdi. In the early hours of the morning, as Baba sat there patiently allowing his pujaris to bathe him with milk and rose water, it was truly a sight for the gods. We were all there - Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Parsis - poor, rich, black and white. But we all had one purpose. We all wanted the same thing. Our Sai Baba. He has touched people from all over the world. The Incredible Sai Baba.

I am sure that all devotees have read the 42nd, 43rd and 44th chapter of Sai Satcharitra where, in SAI attaining his heavenly abode was described and how people of Shiridi felt orphaned at that time. May be foolish but a thought crept in to my mind that I should be a party to witness a similar incident involving death of a great saintly person. Probably this was very unfair on my part to ask such a thing to happen. Sai gave me an opportunity and I humbly place it before the readers.
My paternal uncle and aunt, the Somayyajulu couple has brought me up under their care, and custody, as they were issueless. My parents were away in Northern India by virtue of my father's job placement. My uncle was a Telugu pundit and was instrumental in educating many a poor. They were very charitable, offered food and shelter to the deserving boys in studies. During his 78th year, he suffered from an attack of fever on January 23, 1992. Myself and his adopted son admitted him in a local Nursing Home. On January 25, 1992, Doctors after assessment of all the pathological reports have concluded that his chances of survival are bleak. He stopped all oral intakes from 27th. Shri Sai also suffered from fever from 28 September, 1918 and stopped taking food orally from October 1, 1918.
Shri. Somayyajulu's adopted son has completed construction of his new house and an auspicious date for Gruhapravesh was fixed for January 29, 1992. All arrangements were made way back. He was now worried whether the program would go as planned and whether his father would be present or not for the occasion after having spent 4.00 lakhs of Rupees. The situation was similar in context to Shri. Gopal Mukund booty's in those days when he was doubtful whether Baba will ever live in Booty wada specifically constructed for him after having spent a lakh of rupees as promised.
I was a moved by this pathetic situation and prayed upon Baba to see that my uncle recovers and fulfills his son and every body's desire. I am happy to state that Baba has listened to my prayer and he graced the function having come home in an Ambulance and things appeared going on well. As saying goes "Man proposes and God disposes", things took a different turn and his position deteriorated. On the night of 29th, he was again shifted to Gandhi hospital. I reached Hospital in the morning of January 30, 1992, and the Doctors were now less hopeful. I approached my uncle who wanted me to open a page from Sai Satcharitra and read out its contents. At random I opened a page which happened to be from 27th chapter and it carried advisory message from Baba to Khaparde's wife, as follows " Chant Raja Ram, Raja Ram If you do this your life's object will be achieved, your mind will attain peace and will be immensely benefited ". I read the message, and he started uttering continuously the Mantra and at noon he wanted me to read Madhyanna Haarati and I read it slowly to him in his ears. After completion, he again commenced chanting of Rama mantra. Doctors declared that he is nearing his destiny and may live only for a few hours. At 13:20 hrs he was not able to pronounce the mantra and I put "THULASI THEERTHA' once in to his mouth and trial for second attempt has gone in vain and it spilled out. Baba had a similar end in the lap of Nana Sahib Nimonkar at 14:30 hrs on October 15, 1918. Shri. Somayyajulu expired in Ekadasi thithti and Baba left for heavenly abode Dasisimi Ekadasi transit. Shri Somayyajulu's mortal remains were brought to his son's newly constructed house. I bathed his physical body with Gangajal and on January 30, 1992 Thursday by evening hours his adopted son performed the last rites. In all these events I could see and feel Sai's maha samadhi. Baba came into my life through a person who gave a loan to my father. Once he came to our house to collect the loan and given the bad financial state we were in, he felt pity and gave a picture of Sai to my mother and asked to pray to him to solve all the troubles. From then on my mother started praying and I did not have much belief but still I used to go to Baba temple in Mylapore. Years passed by and there were numerous miracles happening all along the way, all this happened while we are totally in a helpless state. Our financial position never improved but it never was a stumbling block in our life, be it the marriage of both my sisters or my education; Baba made sure that everything happened on time and with all grandeur. While my belief started taking form the situations were little tough and I resorted to Baba's feet with more determination. One major instance is when I was preparing for entrance examination for MBA. Though I did not have the luxury for coaching classes, Baba introduced me to a friend with whose help the preparation became a lot easier. Baba made me attend a lot of examinations and in all I did really well much to the disbelief of my parents. Finally in one examination I got a rank with a scholarship too. There was another shocking incident, my mother who was in my village had some neurological problem and went into coma. Everybody lost hope and no one was ready to help us in any way, at this moment Baba in the form of our brother-in-law gave us all the help we needed. Because of the attack my mom lost her memory and was not able to recall most of the things. Again this was a cause of worry, in a few more days Baba helped mom to get back her memory.
Baba got me a placement where I was the only one to get selected out of 70. Again this helped me to go back home and take care of my mother. Once I was back home we have to take a rented place and was looking for a house. After frantic search we are able to find a good house within our budget, once again its a miracle the house which we got was kept vacant by Baba for us for 18 months in the heart of Chennai city. In July 2006 I came to Shirdi along with my parents and it was the first visit for my Mom. With Baba's grace I was able to take my parents on their first flight and the journey was absolutely comfortable all along the way till we reached home. It was pure bliss for everyone and I really cherish it all my life. I met my life partner who is a devotee of Baba as well. Our marriage went on very well and after our marriage me and my wife went to Shirdi for taking Blessings of Baba. We were standing in the queue to take darshan and while we were nearing Baba we want to give the garland and sweets to the priest there, initially he did not take it and suddenly he smiled and asked us, so you are newly married couple from Hyderabad? It was really a surprise as there is nothing evident either in the dress or appearance to say that we are newly weds. All I want is to be at the feet of Baba with unwavering faith and devotion.

jaisairam Sai saved my son My son was working in a very big firm in UK and suddenly he lost his job due to the problems in the firm.However one day he found out that it was not that he was doing anything bad it is just that the company had to lay off a number of people and he happened to be one of them. After hearing this he was quite depressed however he was reading some positive thinking books which helped him change the way that he was feeling about his situation.My son is a staunch follower of SAI and he always SAI photos and recorded songs of SHIRDISAI. He got his Hssmp visa while he was working in that firm, for few days he did not know how to run life as he was astonished to see the future.He prepared so many applications for so many companies , all ended in hopeless situation, as it was recession in UK that time, Even now recession is there. My son ,though tired of applying for jobs yet he is a firm believer of SAI and never leave his hope.He is an MBA Marketting and he was wandering for job though he is highly qualified.He did not meet his friends and he lived a secluded life .Finally he got a job in a petrol bunk and he was doing all the work which he had never known. Really it is pitiable but to proceed with the speed of life he accepted the job with low salary. It was very tough job and day by day he felt the toughness in the job and was going on tired always.He was suffering to the core but with positive spirit he worked hard whatever the job maybe,,he used to tell me that these sufferings would shape him and would give patience and steadiness. I prayed to SAI several times and start reading weekly SAISATCHARITA and when i finished 9th week parayana i heard good news from my son that he has been selected ina good British company, I also patiently WAITING with positive approach for a good answer from god. here we were all praying SAI and prayed Baba to be with my son and bless him to have a good job.,After 6 months he went to a BRITISH company for an interview and by the grace of SAI he joined the job with a decent salary.yes SAI knows when to give and what to give to his devotees. WHEN HE GOT HIS JOB AFTER A LONG TIME , HE SHED TEARS AND THIS IS HIS GRATITUDE TO SAI AND HE WAS MOVED OF THIS MIRACLE HE SAID SAI IS GREAT! "WE SHOULD NOT CRY FOR ANYTHING BUT WE SHOULD CRY FOR GOD" See, here with full faith in Baba my son got a job in the foreign soil. Imagine how happy we will be!We had a great relief because he suffered monetarily and pysically.Sai you are everything to me and to my son. Shirdi Saibaba , please bless me to face life with total surrender in your feet and help me have patience untill you shower your rewards for my devotion. But Baba acts as per the rules of your karma and Nature.So it will take sometime for shirdi sai to bless you with rewards.Pray sai whole heartedly to give you patience and hold on to Shirdi sai's feet . Shradha - Faith on Sai and Saburi - Patience untill he blesses you with rewards Express that you are totally surrendering to him with body, mind and soul to Shirdi Sai and you are confident that someday surely sai will reward you with all peace and happiness in life protecting you and your family like a mother. A Sai devotee
I had injured myself around 10 days back when I slipped and fell. The fall resulted in a constant pain in the lower part of my spine. I had to be careful when I sat down, stretched or bent. I ignored it because I didn't want to go to a doctor as it would mean getting into the health insurance maze. Somehow the pain kept getting worse and my movements were getting more restricted by the day. On the day before yesterday, I sent up a fervent, silent prayer to Sai asking him to cure the pain completely. As I prayed, the usual doubts haunted me -- "What if the pain doesn't go away? Will Sai actually cure it?" etc etc. I pushed down those doubts, thinking to myself firmly that Sai will cure it if I ask Him. Within a few minutes, I could feel the pain receding a bit. Of course, my doubts did not go away even then. I thought, "Maybe the pain won't go away completely". But again, I pushed the thought out and went about my day. At the end of the day, I was surprised to find very little pain and when I thought back, I realized that I had been able to move really freely through the day. The next day i.e. yesterday, the pain had all but gone and I was almost back to normal. Today morning when I woke up, I realized there was absolutely no pain (I used to have some pain when I slept in a certain way). I was overjoyed. I still cannot believe how incredibly lucky I am to have Sainath listening to me. I can hardly be called a devotee -- I have very little willpower and more often than not, my attempts at expressing my devotion succumb to my bad habits. But, He is so very merciful.

All Sai devotees, I want to share my wonderful Sai Baba's experience with you. We went to Shirdi 18 years ago, where we met a nice family. Later on, we became good family friends. On one Sunday afternoon, our Shirdi friends told us that his colleague is looking for match for his son who is in America. Later on by Baba's grace, I got married to the groom in America. It was a dream come true for me and to my family. We never thought this is possible. Without his abhaya hasta, I cannot even imagine my life. On our wedding day Sai himself came and ate at my wedding lunch and went off as quickly as he came. People still talk about the experiences of meeting Sai at my wedding. Sai Baba, Sata Koti pranam for giving us everything and guiding us in your way. Sometimes I blame you for not responding quickly, but I understand you do things in your way. Forgive me for all mistakes that I did with ignorance. Thanks again for all your blessings and generous grace

I was not so particularly inclined to Shirdi Baba from the beginning. But I always believed in the God. I would like to my experience.
I had a pretty decent life and position in the society. For various reasons, I was jobless at one point of time when I was 41. I started again as a financial consultant. No income. I lost my morale too It was on one hot summer noon, I was roaming on the road after meeting a Bank Manager behalf of a client. There was disappointment. I was thirsty. I wanted to buy a cool drink but I realized that I did not have money. I had just about two rupees. I purchased a packet of butter milk and was quenching my thirst.
I heard a song was being played on Sai Baba. Now I don't remember where from it was, whether from a radio I suddenly felt like going to Shirdi and touching the Baba's Samadhi. Then I told to myself like this. When I had money I was not serious to visit Shirdi. Now I don't have money and planning if I cant visit now. But, if I get money, one of the first things I do is visiting Shirdi.
I went home and that evening one friend called me up and said, "RamaKrishna, don't you want your money back". I was surprised about this. To this friend I had lent Rs.2000 when I was in good financial period. After my situation went bad, I did not meet any of my old friends, and I forgot that I lent him. He said, "Rama Krishna, I would like to return your money. You can come and take it from me, or I will return it after ten days. I am right now going on tour". I immediately went to his home, got the money, and purchased a bus ticket for Shirdi for the next available Bus on the following evening.
I believe that Baba had given me a call to visit him. That did not stop there. I had many many experiences of his grace. However, this is the very beginning of my experiences I wanted to share with you all. Aum Sai Ram.

Dear Sai bhaktas, We have been strong believer of baba since last three years. I am basically from Nairobi, Kenya. As the matter of curiosity, me and my husband thought of applying for visas to USA. In July one fine day we called up the embassy to fix and appointment for interview, we got the appointment fixed on August 18, 2000. As 18 = 1+8 = 9 being a significant number I had confidence we will go thru it. We had to prepare paper work for an interview, we were suppose to give strong proof of our ties in Kenya, good finanacial background. Since me and my husband were working, and had responsibilities of two girls , my daughters, The savings were not that much to make them confident. But we had strong background of place where we both were working. We prepared the necessary paperwork, I started reading Sai Satcharitra the week before so that I can finish and go for an interview. I finished reading on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, we had to go for an interview. We had left everything on baba saying "YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR US". As we reached the embassy, there was a long queue.., and in that queue I saw a person who seems to be of Arab origin, but the clothes he had put on were white kurtan with white turban and had long white beard, when I was chanting sai sai he just turned around and I could see baba in him. As our number came ,One of officer who was checking all the paperwork, as per attached to the form, and there was one section mentioned ,if children are below certain age no photographs are required , so we didn’t take any pictures of girls. She told us to go and get them done at he near mall and be back before 10.00. As it was early morning 8.00 and the malls open at 9.30 . We had to go and wait till the mall opens we tried other places also they were closed. After taking the pictures of girls we returned to embassy , just thinking why is this happening ? When we reached it was nearly 9.50 somewhere. And there were few people ahead of us in that line, for interview. We were called . Me and my girls were chanting baba’s name, having a baba’s key chain in my hand. As the officer was going through papers, he just asked what were we working as and spoke to girls nicely and there he said go to other window pay your fees and get the passport next day. SAI RAM was the words came out of me and my husbands mouth. and I couldn’t believe it. The Officer didn’t even go through the bank statements. We paid the fees and we were silent all the way to our home and went straight to my mandir and bowed before him, and due to him we safely reached USA without any trouble. Since then I know with firm faith if baba is called he will always be there. MAY SAI BLESS YOU ALL. OM SAI SHREE SAI JAYA JAYA SAI.

Om Sai Ram! I have been reading the Sai Vichaar for sometime and enjoy reading the articles and experiences of Sai devotees. My brother, Ashok Kumar, and bhabhi, Mrs. Veena Gupta are regular contributors of their experiences. I have taken upon myself to share my emotional experiences during my current visit with them. I, along with my family, came to India on 9 December. The purpose of this visit was my daughter's scheduled wedding in Jodhpur on December 28. We reached home in the night. As usual, my bhabhi awoke Baba in her temple in the morning and I went behind her for Baba's darshan. I was just absolutely delighted to see a little Udi in front of Baba's photo even though it was not a Thursday. I knew immediately that Baba is blessing us and everything would go all right with my daughter's wedding. With Baba's blessings, everything went smoothly for the next two weeks for the preparations. My daughter received kind and extensive help from a cousin whom she met for the first time. During the next two Thursdays, I joined in the regular Amritwani recital at my bhabhi's place along with many other devotees. I feel so fortunate to be part of this family. As I have been reading in the Sai Vichaar for the past two years (like other readers), on both Thursdays Baba gave darshan with abundance of Udi with words Om and Ram (in Hindi) written clearly in Baba's hands. I again felt blessed when the bhog that I offered for my daughter was also blessed with Udi. We left Delhi for Jodhpur on the evening of 25th, Tuesday, evening. I felt a little reassured that Baba is blessing my daughter when I saw a little Udi again in the mandir that day.
The most amazing miracle had yet to come. My bhabhi packed a small postcard picture of Baba along with amritwani cassettes to take with us to Jodhpur. We reached Jodhpur Wednesday morning. We were running around the entire day to arrange for the wedding and our guests who were to arrive the next day. My bhabhi looked at her small room and set up Baba's photo in a window. On Thursday, the 27th December, as I was hoping and praying, when we got up in the morning, there was an abundance of Udi in front of Baba's little picture. Thereafter, there was a stream of people coming in to the room for Baba's darshan. We found out that the cooks in our guesthouse were also devotees of Sai Baba and had been to Shirdi. They all started calling my bhabhi "ma" and offered all food to Baba as they cooked meals for the family. Later on at 11:00 a.m., my bhabhi performed Sai amritwani. The guesthouse was being decorated with flowers. I was simply overwhelmed when my bhabhi told me that the atmosphere reminded her very much of Shirdi.
With Baba's blessing, everything went on smoothly with the wedding. Any minor problem we encountered was resolved smoothly and quickly. We came back safely and with much comfort on the 31st. The next day, the start of a new year, again Baba was present in the house to bless the family. A devotee had brought bhog the night before. Baba had accepted that clearly when I peeped into the box and saw Udi on the sweets. Later on Udi appeared on the box and formed 'Om". I rushed my husband to the market to get some bhog. I offered that to Baba with a heavy heart as it was after noon by this time. After two hours, my bhabhi asked me to distribute the prasad. I was a little hesitant to distribute yet as I felt that Baba had not accepted my bhog. To my amazement, after five minutes when I opened the box to distribute, the sweets were sprinkled with Udi. I cried with joy that Baba finally accepted my bhog. Baba is always there in my Bhabhi's little mandir whenever there is Udi present. We thank Baba for the blessings on our daughter's blessing and pray that the all devotees be blessed likewise. Om Sai Shri Sai Jai Jai Sai.
